As a very young child growing up I never knew the everyday struggles that people faced simply because my grandparents were creative enough to make sure that I had everything I needed and many of the things I wanted. It wasn’t until at the age of 6, when I went to live with my mother and stepfather, that I realized that Barbie dolls, eating out at restaurants and shopping at department stores wasn’t a normal way of life. I came to the knowledge that just keeping food on the table was a task. After reaching adulthood, getting married and having three children, I realized that I was now part of a society that would become frustrated with keeping the bare necessities at hand for my family. My family however was blessed by the generosity of family, friends and yes strangers who felt compelled to be a blessing to us. These unselfish acts of love towards us prompted us to do the same for others. As I leaped forward with FHEHAS Productions, I always knew that giving back to those who were less fortunate would be a driving goal. Each FHEHAS production will always target a group or a cause that could benefit from what we do. Whether it’s bringing laughter to a senior citizen, giving coats to tots, feeding the homeless or helping with educational needs, birth’s a desire that promotes humbleness and a yearning to do more. We believe that we are our brother’s keeper and if you see someone drowning, don’t throw more water on him, THROW HIM A LIFE LINE. FHEHAS lifelines are made possible by those who support our productions or by being a sponsor to someone to who ordinarily would not be able to share in such events. We hope you will join us and be a blessing.
