GOD KNOWS MY HEART

When I initially began writing I didn’t know how it was going to turn out.  But with much prayer and imagination, I found myself getting weak with laughter as I envisioned each character.  The story takes place at the home of Lyndelle and Tyra Smith who have two children that are very different and Tyra’s old parents grandpa Joe and Grandma Tilly live their as well.  Tyra who is played by Francine Bright is an ex DIVA gone sanctified and her professional husband is having a hard time with the lack of affection he’s receiving  since her new found faith. They are faced with that big problem most married people have SEX.  When dating most couples say “I Do” to sex, but after marriage the “I DO’s” turn to “I Don’t.   Not unless you’re Grandma Tilly, played by yours truly and Grandpa Joe played by gospel comedian Cletus Cassady.  They don’t have any problems with shaking the sheets.  Their theme song is “Break Up To Make Up”.  These two will hurt your stomach muscles.  This play also comprises a character by the name of T D bug who actually goes by the name T D Bug in real life.  I couldn’t think of anyone else who could fit this role other than my real life cousin T D Bug. T D bug plays the role of Tyra’s old school friend who makes it known by her appearance and her actions that she’s a church goer with club benefits.  She puts a whole new meaning on the word girlfriend.  This is a must see play.  I can’t give it all away but trust me you will kick yourself for not seeing
